After our morning concert at Church of the Palms, we packed up and went to our second concert of the day- St. Thomas Moore Catholic Church, located on the same grounds as The Chelsea Center. Our sound set up was painless and the natural acoustics in the building are absolutely wonderful. Before every concert during sound check, I will go out into the auditorium and listen to the group while I'm singing to make sure the sound is the way it should be. For instance, making sure the microphones are balanced in proportion to each other, the EQ and effects sound natural and correct for the room we are in, overall volume etc... During this sound check, the natural sound of the room was so warm I just listened and enjoyed like an audience member. :) It was just a wonderful place to sing. Well, that's all folks.
