This concert is the only one of its kind that we do in the entire year and is always a lot of fun for us. 14 years ago, we were approached by a wonderful couple who asked us if we would be available to sing at an outdoor preschool play that would be held on a Saturday in December at 9 AM. Our family singing group was just starting out and this was the first concert we ever performed. Dr. Robert and Linda Moore are two of the most special people we know and we formed an instant connection with them after that first concert. They have dedicated their lives to enriching future generations by completely converting a house into a school which masquerades as a wonderland for preschool through second grade kids.

Every December, they put on a presentation where every one of their students sing Christmas songs and read Christmas poems that they have written themselves, and this year they even had a pair of first grade twins who both play the violin perform "Good King Wenceslas" The kids are so adorable and it is always funny for me to think that the first year we sang at the Moore School, David and I were the same age as the students and we played on the monkey bars with all of the kids after we sang. Wow- I feel old and I'm only 21 :)

Singing at the Moore School has become a tradition for us as much as it has for them. In the last fourteen years, our schedule has only prevented us from being there once. We always come fully decked out in our authentic Victorian costumes but the weather at this outdoor event changes from year to year. Typically, it is very warm and sunny, but once or twice, it was freezing and we were grateful to be so warmly dressed. Amazingly enough- it has never rained at this event. It's never snowed either come to think of it...

Anyway, it is always a joy for us to be there whenever we can. Below is a picture of the Moores. I'm done typing for now. Stay happy and healthy
